Get Connected-whether you are the student or parent, this is one key to homeschooling success. There are many online and community support groups.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. Choose a homeschool curriculum that you enjoy and that is working-keep looking until you do.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3. Complete school core subjects in the morning, resist the temptation to make doctor's appointments  and run errands before your work is complete.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4. Work towards your child being an independent learner. Teach your children how to teach themselves and they will be a success wherever they go after there homeschool years are over.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5. Give your self some time to adjust. Homeschooling is so different than traditional school, you will make mistakes. Be nice to your self and move on and do better.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;6. Make sure your family and children are volunteering in your community. This builds strong bonds and helps the family to not become to inward focussed.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;7. Help your children develop a specialty. Find something unique that your kids are good at and nurture it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;8. Don't try to do everything over the top. Focus on your kids strengths and do the minimum in subjects that they struggle with.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;9. Read, Read, Read...and Read some more.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;10.
